Rock Creek Church partners with global and local organizations for hunger, medical outreach

Rock Creek Church, located in Prosper, is led by senior pastor Brad Wilkerson and is actively engaged in both local and global outreach efforts. The church emphasizes service beyond the walls of its facility, encouraging members to participate in humanitarian projects and gospel conversations.

The church regularly partners with multiple organizations, offering hands-on service and financial support. One such initiative involves packing food boxes monthly for Children’s Hunger Fund, which distributes these resources globally. Additionally, Rock Creek provides volunteers and financial backing to Neighbors Nourishing Neighbors and Cornerstone of North Central Texas.

Rock Creek also sends medical teams to the Dominican Republic and is working on deploying similar teams to Guatemala City. These efforts include delivering clinical, dental, and vision care to underserved communities.

Pastor Wilkerson emphasizes the importance of moving beyond the church building to serve those in need. “It’s always been our vision at Rock Creek to get outside of our four walls, and take the church into arenas in the world to serve those in need, whether it’s locally or globally,” he said.

One current initiative is a clothing drive for Ireland for Jesus, a ministry in Belfast focused on church planting. The church is collecting gently used adult clothing and accessories to fill a 40-foot container. This initiative is expected to generate about $100,000 for the ministry, which will be used for church planting opportunities.

The clothing drive has already collected over 255 boxes in its first two weeks, demonstrating strong community support. The church is also participating in the “Freedom” series, a 10-week churchwide curriculum developed in Alabama.
