God Loves You. But Does He Like You?

We hear it every Sunday: “God loves everybody.” And that’s true. But love and like are two very different things.

American Christianity has sold you a “Dollar Tree” theology. They tell you that once you say the prayer, once you say ‘Jesus’ the race is over. They want you to stay at the starting line never even starting the competition.

God doesn’t want weaklings, and He didn’t create robots. If He wanted robots, He would have made them out of rocks. He wants friends. And the only way to forge a friendship with the Creator is to go through the fire.

It starts with three things: Stop lying. Stop cheating. Stop stealing.

Don’t just aim for salvation. Aim to impress the Big Man. I don’t want to just sneak into Heaven; I want to walk through the gates and have God tap an angel on the shoulder and say, “That’s that dude, lemme tell you what he did!”
