GracePress grew out of the COVID-era realization that Christian voices and honest ideas could be narrowed, suppressed, or made dependent on platforms they did not control. It began as a way to publish video without surrendering ownership or accepting arbitrary removal. Today it is a self-owned, church-ready publishing system for articles, photos, video, livestreams, and community resources—built to run without paid add-ons, subscription locks, or dependence on one company’s permission. It can live on a ministry’s own server, reach outward when needed, and remain usable when centralized services fail. GracePress is still being refined in production, but its direction is settled: give churches, ministries, and Christian creators durable free tools to share the gospel and serve their communities.
