Normally I would advise any professing Christian to read the bible for his or herself, from front cover to back; Skip nothing- you can discover a cohesive story thisaway. A person who has Gods Word written in their heart is an obvious creature. Those providing lip service glow just as brightly.

For new or immature believers I would advise starting here:

Read Matthew 5-9. These are the direct words of Jesus, as direct as we can get them anyway, and this sermon unpacks alot of radical – but core – concepts.

Next read the book of James; its a short one. James was the blood brother of Jesus. His teachings are easy to understand but may seem just as radical to those who have only heard a scripture or two during church.

Lastly, read 1 Corinthians 13. Every law and commandment boils down to one idea: Love God and also everyone else. This short chapter represents Paul’s take on it.

Some other scriptures to help along the way:

Test everything; only keep whats good. There is no partiality with God. The last will be first, and the first will be last. In the kingdom of Heaven some of us will be held in higher regard than others. Approach your salvation with fear and trembling. A friend of the world can never be a friend to God. You cannot love the world and also love God. You cannot serve two masters. You cannot serve God and also serve the pursuit of money.

The ruthless shall come to nothing. Speak up for those who cant speak for themselves. Defend those who cant defend themselves. When I am weak, then I am strong. Jesus didnt come to bring peace, but a sword.

Whoever says he is in the light but hates his brother is still in darkness.

Probably most of these verses are not verbatim, i am quoting them from memory. If you want chapter and verse… You know, Google it. Don’t make a rookie mistake and try to read and digest the King James version on your first read through, Its doable but will make it exponentially more difficult for no good reason other than baseless eschatological dogma. I can personally vouch for the NIV, NASB, and NKJV versions.

Now a few words from me:

Fuck a bully; Fuck a pack of bullies. I’ve caught more than one ass whipping standing up to bullies. I believe its my Christian duty to check every bully i encounter without regard to anyones race, sex, past sins or financial status. Fuck legalistic, condescending, nepotistic sophists (Google it). I dont judge hearts, Jesus does that; but only a fool doesnt judge actions. Your actions are mean, cruel even. It gives Jesus a bad name and in our current weird-ass world we don’t need even one more reason to turn people off to Jesus and eternal life.

I am offended by you. You produce a fruit that smells bad to me. I am offended that you treat vulnerable people with such contempt. There seems to be very little light in you people. I mean… Wheres the fucking love, yo?

With all that said- I resent the accusation that i was aggressive. I was articulate with volume at best. I never threatened anyone. I never called anyone a name. Your son Lee literally assaulted and harrassed me- ask Carlos. Any documents i signed were signed under duress, under threat of homelessness and Loss of property, forfeiture or rent and deposit, all while being harrassed and physically intimidated. I dunno, maybe you people arent scumbags- but you were walking the scumbag walk and talking the scumbag talk.

I am tickled to have met you people tho, Its just fantastic to have had you on my spiritual radar. I am so happy with the results of what you started- I ended up with a much needed upgrade in my living arrangements, and I discovered I have an ally and a friend where i didn’t before. I am very blessed.

In finalization; Im snitching on you to the Boss; Im telling Jesus on you. You claim to be a part of our gang? Okay! Welcome to Spiritual Accountability- our CEO will be in touch with you shortly. There is no negotiation on this point. No reply is necessary. Good luck with all that “reaping what you sow” stuff.

Sincerely,

The only person to call you on your bullshit in years, probably.
