Coalition protests US and Israel’s military aggression, economic coercion in Cape Town

A coalition of more than 40 political, labour, faith-based and community organisations gathered outside the United States consulate in Cape Town, South Africa, staging a protest against perceived global military aggression and economic coercion. The group, identifying itself as “Unite Against Imperialism and Zionism,” voiced concerns linked to conflicts and humanitarian crises in Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Cuba and Venezuela, which they attributed to foreign intervention and sanctions.
