Report: UK Sees Largest Rise in Antisemitic Incidents Among Major Jewish Diaspora Countries in 2025

The UK has experienced the most significant rise in antisemitic incidents among countries with major Jewish populations outside Israel, according to a recent report by the J7 Large Communities’ Task Force Against Antisemitism. The report highlights that 2025 was the deadliest year for Jews living outside Israel in over three decades, with a 136% increase in reported antisemitic incidents across seven countries since 2022. This surge is attributed to the heightened tensions following the Hamas attacks on southern Israel and the subsequent conflict in Gaza.

The task force, representing the largest Jewish diaspora communities in Argentina, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the UK, and the US, noted that antisemitism remains at record levels in these nations. The UK, alongside Argentina and Germany, saw an increase in reported incidents in 2025, with a 5% rise from the previous year, marking the largest increase among the seven countries surveyed.

Despite a decrease in reported incidents in 2025 in the US, Australia, Canada, and France compared to 2024, these countries still recorded significantly higher levels than those before October 7, 2023. The report underscores the persistent challenge of antisemitism, with 20 individuals killed in antisemitic attacks in 2025 alone.

The findings emphasize the need for continued vigilance and action to combat antisemitism, aligning with the biblical call for justice and peace. As communities worldwide grapple with these issues, the report serves as a sobering reminder of the importance of accountability and the pursuit of harmony, echoing the principles found in Micah 6:8 and Romans 12:18.
