In a recent development, Mesquite police have arrested Conner “Jesse” Penny, a former youth pastor at Inspiration Church in Mesquite, Texas, on multiple charges related to child molestation. The arrest occurred last Thursday, following accusations that Penny engaged in sexual contact with a minor girl from 2015 to 2018. His LinkedIn profile indicates he was hired as an associate minister in April 2017 after completing a nine-month internship at the church.
