Nice morning at the park with Pauly. Waiting on my initial backup to finish before proceeding with a system upgrade and new security keys all around today. Must setup automated backups for files, settings, database dumps, the old system I’ve always used for WordPress backups is no longer viable. Have already tested new software and backup system several months ago but was forced to wait before proceeding due to internet bandwidth issues.
ChristP2P is binary- there is a video backend and the web frontend. We have reached 1/2 a terabyte of hosted video and expect to have 4tb by mid 2025.
Our current network of servers should remain viable until the end of 2025. We have 2 VPS with 8tb storage- one for serving ChristP2P, one for cloud and backups. We lease a third VDS for transcoding. Total server costs are around $60 per month.
