A dear friend recently asked me the hard question: “By what authority do you go out and audit Christianity? What is your claim?”

I’m not in the habit of explaining myself, but I was willing to explain myself to her, and so I will explain myself to you.

Look around- the world is falling apart. Our popular culture celebrates perversion while the Church collectively shrugs its shoulders. We retreat, hoard our resources, and bury our talents in the ground. Too many believers sit on the fence, terrified to engage with the darkness that surrounds us.

I don’t have a seminary degree on my wall. My authority doesn’t come from a piece of paper. My authority comes from willingness.

I built this infrastructure—this network, these servers, this platform—with my own hands. I learned the Bible not in a lecture hall, but in a prison cell, reading it cover-to-cover because I had nothing else. I’ve survived the foster care system, homelessness, and the worst this world has to offer.

So, who am I to call you out?

I’m the Sheriff of Jesus Town.

I am here to kick in spiritual doors. I am here to serve a warrant on every believer who is immorally hoarding God’s resources. When you raised your hand and accepted Jesus, you agreed to the Terms of Service. You don’t get to be lukewarm. You don’t get to sit this out.

I’m auditing the books. I’m checking for buried talents. If you aren’t willing to use what God gave you to fight for this world, I am, even if I have to do it alone, just me and Jesus.
