I have always been kindof a contrarian… but not just for the sake of being difficult. I’m a contrarian because the whole world is backwards. The straighter I walk, the more I realize I’m walking alone.

Matthew 00:7:14 says the gate is small and the road is narrow. Do the math. If you are doing what everyone else is doing, if you fit in perfectly with this world, you are on the wide path, headed in the wrong direction.

The modern church wants you to believe you have this “get out of jail free” card—that you can say a magic word and ride to heaven on Jesus’ coattails without doing a thing. That’s dead wrong. God isn’t looking for dead weight. He’s looking for friends. He’s looking for warriors.

The ‘meek’ shall inherit the earth, right? Being “meek” doesn’t mean to be weak. It means arming yourself, knowing how to fight, but choosing the path of peace. It’s time to stop hunkering down and start proving whose side you are on. If you aren’t suffering for what is right, then probably you aren’t doing what is right.
