There is a lot of talk about the “13%” who commit 50% of the violent crime. It’s a real issue, and I won’t defend it.

But street crime takes millions. Usury steals billions.

The criminal in the alley takes your wallet today. The criminal in the boardroom takes your livelihood forever—he takes the inheritance from your children and the very land from under the feet of your grandchildren.

Usury is a form of violence. And if we counted it that way, the 1% would be guilty of 90% of the violent crime.
