Life Isn’t Fair
Life’s Not Fair
Brothers and sisters, I’m spending this Christmas alone with my dog Paul, but I’m not lonely—I’m thankful. I’m guilty of complaining that “life isn’t fair” when things get tough- we all are, right?
I’m here to tell you: you better thank God that life isn’t fair.
If life were truly fair—if the universe ran on cold, impartial justice—I wouldn’t be making this video. I’d be dead, in prison for a thousand years, or facing the eternal consequences of my own chaos. But God doesn’t treat us as our sins deserve. He gives His people an unfair advantage.
We Christians often use Romans 00:8:28 for quick, feel-good encouragement, but it isn’t a promise for the whole world; it’s a promise for the family of God. He manipulates the whole world to protect His own.
We Christians have the favor and the grace. But when the Boss gives you the keys to the joint, you don’t party—you get to work. Stop asking for fairness. Fairness is a trap. Start thanking God for the advantage.
Merry Christmas, brothers and sisters. Get to work.
