Suboxone and Ultra Processed Clarity – Shaving Grace #374K

In this episode, I talk about my journey to sobriety and my experience with Suboxone, a medication used to help with opioid addiction. When I was in rehab, they gave me Suboxone. At first, I didn’t know it was addictive. After four months, I realized I was hooked. Quitting Suboxone was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. It took me two weeks of intense withdrawal to get clean. I share this to show the dangers of replacing one addiction with another and to encourage others to strive for true clean living.

I also discuss how society deals with addiction and mental health. It’s shocking how easy it is to get drugs and alcohol, and how many people use them to cope with life’s problems. But using substances only makes things worse in the long run. 🍷💊

I also talk about ultra-processed foods in our diets. Did you know 72% of products in grocery stores are ultra-processed? That means they’re made in ways you couldn’t replicate at home with natural ingredients. These foods can be bad for our health, just like drugs and alcohol. 🍔🚫

As Christians, we need to take care of our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). This means avoiding drugs and alcohol and being careful about what we eat. It’s a tough path, but it’s worth it.
