Arkansas Hospice Rebrands as LifeTouch Health to Reflect Expanded Services and Mission Commitment

Arkansas Hospice, a well-established nonprofit, is set to rebrand as LifeTouch Health in October, marking a significant evolution in its service offerings. This change reflects the organization’s commitment to expanding its range of services and enhancing patient and family experiences. The rebranding is spearheaded by Brian Bell, the newly appointed President and CEO, who previously served as the Vice President and Chief Medical Officer. Bell, who took over from retiring CEO Judith Wooten, envisions this transition as a “new dawn of care.”

The rebranding effort is part of a broader strategy to better represent LifeTouch Health’s diverse array of services, which now includes adult and pediatric hospice, palliative care, bereavement support, and advanced care planning. The organization, which serves 44 counties across Arkansas, has a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1992. It has continually evolved, notably through its 2023 merger with LifeTouch Hospice, previously owned by the SHARE Foundation, a faith-based nonprofit.

LifeTouch Health’s service offerings have expanded significantly over the years, including the introduction of a palliative care service line in 2016 and the acquisition of First Choice Senior Care in 2022. This acquisition added companion services, personal care, and other nonmedical programs to its portfolio. The organization also now provides primary care for patients with limited mobility and transportation programs for those in assisted and independent living facilities.

The rebranding underscores LifeTouch Health’s mission to transform patient and family experiences, encapsulated in the LIFE acronym: love and compassion, integrity and respect, faithfulness and stewardship, and excellence. As the organization prepares to launch its new website on October 1, it reaffirms its roots as a community-based entity committed to being the state’s largest nonprofit hospice care provider. This transformation aligns with the biblical call to love and serve one’s neighbor, as highlighted in Micah 6:8, emphasizing the importance of justice, mercy, and walking humbly with one’s community.
