Cary Preacher Arrested for Soliciting Prostitution

Raleigh police arrested a Cary preacher early Tuesday morning after catching him soliciting prostitution during a traffic stop. The 50-year-old Baber George, known for his “God is Alive TV” ministry, was pulled over for a moving violation and subsequently charged with solicitation of prostitution.

During the traffic stop, investigators uncovered evidence linking George to an alleged prostitution ring. George, who describes himself on social media as “a voice for the voiceless,” is also the head of the human rights group IUDHR, which claims to promote and protect basic human rights globally.

George’s social media profiles list ties to a church called God is Alive TV, though no physical location or valid website appears to exist for the organization. He also identifies as the CEO and international ambassador of the nonprofit Implementation of Universal Declaration of Human Rights (IUDHR), Inc.

His LinkedIn profile states he studied theology at Full Gospel Assemblies Bible College, believed to be a reference to FGA Theological Seminary in Pakistan. The seminary is one of the largest Pentecostal-charismatic institutions in the region.

George was booked at the Wake County Jail but later released after posting a $3,000 unsecured bond. The case highlights the need for accountability and justice, as Proverbs 31:8-9 reminds us to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Such actions not only violate the law but also bring sin into the light, as Ephesians 5:11 warns against participating in ungodly activities. The incident underscores the importance of integrity and the consequences of moral failure.
