GO Church recently expanded its ministry reach in the South Metro Atlanta area by launching a new campus in Fayette County. The initiative involved dozens of volunteers who worked diligently to set up the portable campus at Starr’s Mill High School, transforming it into GO Church Fayette County. The campus was ready for its inaugural gathering on Sunday, September 13, where Campus Pastor Ben Calhoun expressed hope and gratitude during a volunteer team huddle, encouraging everyone to encounter the Most High God.
By 10 a.m. on the launch day, hundreds of community members had arrived. The setup included age-appropriate environments for children at GO Kids, and a live worship experience in the auditorium led by a worship team. Lead Pastor J.C. Worley delivered a message, continuing the church’s mission that began in 2014 alongside his wife, Kimberly.
Before the official launch, GO Church volunteers engaged in Serve Days, addressing local community needs through landscaping, pressure washing, and visiting senior citizens. This commitment to service aligns with GO Church’s cultural emphasis on “love people to life.” In 2025, over 1,700 volunteers participated in 252 local outreach projects, reflecting the church’s dedication to community service.
Fayette County, with a population of over 125,000, including more than 21% under the age of 18, serves as a strategic location for GO Church’s mission to nurture the next generation of world changers for Jesus Christ. The Fayette County campus focuses on various ministries, including GO Kids, GO Youth, Young Adults, Internships, and GO U (School of Ministry and Theology).
Founded over a decade ago by Lead Pastors JC and Kimberly Worley, GO Church is guided by the mission to “go and make disciples of all nations,” inspired by Matthew 28:18–20. The church has since expanded to four U.S. campuses and international locations in Belize, India, and Northern Thailand, with plans for a fourth international campus in Jamaica in Fall 2026. This growth reflects the church’s ongoing commitment to spreading its message and serving communities worldwide.
