According to reports, Tebow earns between $50,000 and $100,000 per appearance. The organization has been described as a Christian motivational and real estate seminar roadshow.

The investigation, conducted by Pablo Torre in collaboration with Mother Jones, alleges that Life Surge uses high-profile Christian athletes like Tebow as promotional “bait.” It claims that the organization employs predatory sales tactics, aggressive financing practices, and has faced government complaints from attendees who incurred significant financial debt.

The report suggests that Life Surge pressures attendees of their $30 one-day events to purchase additional “introductory courses” costing between $10,000 and $50,000. To facilitate these purchases, Life Surge reportedly encourages attendees to take out lines of credit on their homes or sign up for credit cards with initially low interest rates, which later increase to as much as 30%.

Tebow, who is currently a college football analyst with ESPN’s SEC Nation and a Jacksonville resident, expressed that he was “caught off guard” by the allegations brought to light in the “Pablo Torre Finds Out” podcast. He was attending an anti-human trafficking conference when he learned of the investigation, which has prompted him to reassess his association with Life Surge.
