What It Is
I’ve spent the last two years building this site, passing out business cards, and sending links to a few folks. Now, I’m stepping into the next phase.
It’s not just about leading people to Christ. I want to challenge the way we live. Churches are full of people who say they follow Jesus but live for money, power, and comfort. It’s time to get real. I’m 45, got no retirement plan, and no family or friends to fall back on. Before I die alone, I’m going to hold up signs in front of churches and make some noise—literally and spiritually.
Scripture warns us: “For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil” (1 Timothy 6:10). And the Bible is clear: “If a man will not work, he shall not eat” (2 Thessalonians 3:10). I’m not here to make people feel good. I’m here to speak truth. Christians, especially those in comfort, need to be shaken awake.
There’s a big difference between saying you follow Jesus and actually following him. Churches today are full of people who’ve sold out to comfort, people who’ll sit in a pew and sing praises on Sunday, but turn around and deny loans, cut off services, and make life harder for others come Monday. It’s hypocrisy, and I’m done with it. “These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me” (Matthew 15:8).
I’m going to hold churches accountable. I’m going to hold signs that say, “Owning money isn’t work” and “Woe to those who are rich” (Luke 6:24). This is a church audit, y’all. I’m not afraid to stand alone if that’s what it takes.
