North Strand Helping Hand Partners With Local Churches and Organizations for Emergency Aid in October 2026

North Strand Helping Hand, an emergency aid organization, is collaborating with ABC15 this October to address the immediate needs of the North Strand community. The initiative highlights the organization’s commitment to providing essential support during times of crisis.

The partnership underscores the importance of community collaboration in times of need. North Strand Helping Hand has worked closely with several local entities, including the Low Country Food Bank and SC Thrive, to ensure resources reach those in distress.

Local churches have played a significant role in this effort. First Baptist Church of North Myrtle Beach, King of Glory Lutheran Church, Lakeside Baptist Church, Little River United Methodist Church, Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church, Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Trinity United Methodist Church, North Strand Community Church, and Waterbrook Community Church have all contributed to the initiative.

These churches, along with other businesses, have supported North Strand Helping Hand in its mission to offer practical assistance. Their involvement reflects a shared commitment to serving the community through mercy and compassion.

The collaboration exemplifies the biblical principle of caring for others, as seen in Matthew 25:35, where Jesus emphasizes the importance of helping those in need. This spirit of neighbor-love is central to the work of North Strand Helping Hand and its partners.

By working together, these organizations demonstrate the power of collective action in addressing local challenges. Their efforts align with the call to act justly and show mercy, as described in Galatians 6:10.

The partnership serves as a reminder of the ongoing need for community support and the vital role that churches and ministries play in providing practical aid. It also highlights the importance of accountability and justice in serving others.

North Strand Helping Hand continues to be a beacon of hope and support for the community, embodying the values of compassion and service that are foundational to Christian outreach.
