In a recent visit to Israel, NRB President & CEO Troy A. Miller engaged with key Israeli officials and diplomats, highlighting the intersection of global political and religious dynamics. During his trip, Miller emphasized the importance of understanding the global battle between the Judeo-Christian worldview and a progressive, secular, socialist worldview. This visit underscored the close ties between Israel and the U.S. in this ideological struggle.
Miller’s meetings with top officials, including Ambassador Mike Hucakbee and Yossi Dagan, governor of Samaria, focused on strengthening Christian-Jewish relations and addressing religious persecution. The discussions revealed a new dimension of Israel’s involvement in the fight against Christian persecution, a topic that surprised Israeli leaders. This commitment was further demonstrated by Israel’s appointment of George Deek, an Arab Christian, as the first Special Envoy to the Christian World, underscoring Israel’s dedication to religious freedom both domestically and globally.
Miller also briefed the Foreign Minister’s Office on the issue of global Christian persecution, highlighting the need for international awareness and action. His interactions included meetings with Israel’s Chief Rabbi, Hacham David Yosef, and representatives from the Orthodox Religious Community and the Messianic Jewish Community.
At the three-day Jerusalem Summit hosted by the International Christian Embassy, Jerusalem (ICEJ), Miller joined global Christian leaders to discuss strategies for engaging in conversations about Israel with biblical clarity. In his remarks, Miller addressed the challenge of modern propaganda, which aims to undermine the very concept of truth. He stressed the importance of Israel’s active defense on digital platforms to counteract misinformation and uphold Judeo-Christian values.
The summit and Miller’s engagements reflect a broader commitment to truth, mercy, and justice, resonating with the biblical call to “seek peace and pursue it” (Micah 6:8). As the world grapples with complex political and religious issues, these efforts highlight the ongoing struggle for truth and the protection of religious freedoms.
