A Brazilian church, K Church Corp., along with the owner of the former Fox Hill Inn, have filed a federal lawsuit against the town of Brookfield, Connecticut, seeking significant damages. The lawsuit claims that Brookfield violated their First Amendment rights by barring the church from using the property for 21 months, despite having a purchase agreement.
