Charity Marie Danner, 98, of Troy, OH, a member of Cassel Hills Church of Christ, dies at 98

Charity Marie Danner, a member of the Churches of Christ, passed away on October 22, 2026, at the age of 98. She was born on May 11, 1928, in Livingston, Tennessee, to Arnie and Conva Copeland. Charity was known for her active participation in her faith community, particularly as a member of Cassel Hills Church of Christ in Vandalia, Ohio. She also belonged to the Bluegrass Association, a regional network of Churches of Christ.

Throughout her life, Charity was devoted to her family and her faith. She is survived by her children, Linda Ehlers and David Masters, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Victor Masters and Charles Danner; her son Keith Masters; and several siblings.

Charity worked for Lively’s Clothing for 25 years before retiring. She was recognized for her culinary skills, especially her homemade biscuits and gravy, and for her love of the Cincinnati Reds. Her faith was central to her life, and she regularly attended church and read the Bible.

Charity’s legacy includes her deep commitment to her community and her family. Her funeral service will be held at Cassel Hills Church of Christ on October 31, 2026, where visitation will take place from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by burial at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
