Houston-area Youth Pastor Charged with Multiple Counts of Child Porn Possession, Deputies Say
Noel Walker, a 20-year-old youth pastor at Infinity Church in the Houston area, has been charged with five counts of possession of child pornography and one count of possession of a child-like sex doll, according to court records. The charges stem from an investigation that began with an online tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. Deputies say investigators found child sexual abuse material depicting children as young as 2 years old, along with a child-like sex doll during the search.
Walker identified himself as a youth pastor and worship leader at Infinity Church during his arrest. The church has not yet responded to inquiries regarding his employment status or any potential connection between Walker and the church’s lead pastor, who shares the same last name. Investigators believe electronic devices seized during the operation contain thousands of suspected child sexual abuse material images and videos.
Chris Seufert, who oversees Internet Crimes Against Children efforts for the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, noted that the office continues to investigate a growing number of child exploitation cases. He emphasized that the task force includes dedicated detectives who focus primarily on these cases, which are labor-intensive and require significant resources. Seufert highlighted that child predators often target professions involving close contact with children, such as faith leaders, teachers, coaches, and scout leaders.
Seufert acknowledged that while many in these professions are not dangerous, the nature of these roles makes them attractive to predators. He urged organizations serving children to implement safeguards, such as policies preventing a child from being alone with an adult who is not a parent or guardian. This aligns with the biblical call to protect the vulnerable, as Proverbs 31:8-9 reminds us to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.
The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office files approximately 120 cases annually involving possession of child sexual abuse material and online solicitation, a rise from about 80 cases in 2022. Seufert noted that child predators are drawn to positions of trust, a reality that underscores the need for vigilance and accountability. As Ephesians 5:11 encourages, we must be alert to the works of darkness and expose them.
Anyone with information related to this investigation is encouraged to contact the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office, Criminal Investigations Division at (281) 364-4211. The case serves as a reminder of the importance of safeguarding children and holding individuals in positions of influence to account, reflecting the call to pursue justice and mercy as described in Micah 6:8.
