Former Priest Pleads Not Guilty In Sexual Assault Of Young Boys

A former Catholic priest has pleaded not guilty to charges of lewd acts involving four young boys. Christopher John Cunningham, 58, was charged with 12 felony counts of lewd acts on a child under the age of 14 in April. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced the charges, which allege misconduct occurred during Cunningham’s tenure as an associate pastor at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Palmdale and his work at Saint Lawrence Martyr Catholic Church in Redondo Beach.
