St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Marble Falls has been actively involved in supporting local families and children through its Blessings Ministry. In 2025, the Highland Lakes Service League joined other groups in promoting and gathering food for the St. Peter’s Blessings Fest program, demonstrating a commitment to community service and support.
The Blessings Ministry of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church plays a crucial role in providing much-needed items to families in the area, ensuring that children facing food insecurity have meals to take home. This initiative reflects the biblical call to care for one’s neighbor, as seen in Matthew 25:35, which emphasizes feeding the hungry.
To further support this mission, St. Peter’s Blessings will host its fifth annual Blessing Fest at Lakeside Pavilion in Marble Falls. Scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 8, the event will feature a sausage dinner, a silent auction, and entertainment. The silent auction includes notable items such as a condominium stay in Angel Fire, New Mexico, a Bob Cat steer rental, and an autographed football by the Texas A&M team.
The event aims to raise funds to continue providing meals to students and their families in the Marble Falls Independent School District. During the 2025-26 school year, the organization served approximately 7,000 meals, highlighting its significant impact on the community. This effort aligns with Galatians 6:10, which encourages doing good to all, especially to those within the family of faith.
Entertainment for the evening will include performances by the Hill Country Community Band and family-friendly comedy and magic by Dwayne Hill, who has appeared in Las Vegas and on “America’s Got Talent.” Aaron Pyle will serve as the master of ceremonies, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Admission to the event includes a German feast sausage dinner, access to the silent auction, and entertainment. Presale tickets are priced at $30 for adults and $20 for children ages 5-12, with prices increasing after Oct. 1. Children younger than 5 can attend for free. Additionally, table sponsorships are available for up to eight people for $500, offering premium seating closer to the stage.
Blessing Fest not only provides an opportunity for the community to come together but also supports St. Peter’s Blessings in its ongoing mission to feed local children and their families.
