The Manitowoc Warming Shelter is relocating to St. Paul Lutheran Church on South 10th Street for the winter, following the discovery that its previous location at Lakeshore CAP did not meet the city’s life safety code requirements. The city’s Plan Commission has unanimously approved a conditional use permit for the new site, which is equipped with fire exits and an overhead sprinkler system, ensuring the safety of its guests.
