TVBS Trust in Love and Sustainability Foundation, along with 67 local churches, has collected 5,000 gift packages to support economically vulnerable families in Taiwan. The initiative, coordinated with local government agencies, aims to provide practical aid during the mid-autumn festival, offering warmth and support to those in need.

The mayor expressed gratitude for the collaborative effort, highlighting the importance of community action in caring for the marginalized. This initiative reflects a commitment to addressing social needs beyond governmental responsibility, ensuring that vulnerable individuals feel the support of society.

The ongoing impact of the pandemic has exacerbated challenges for many families, particularly those reliant on a single income. The TVBS Trust in Love and Sustainability Foundation, alongside local Christian organizations, has been running a project to assist these families. This year’s effort includes distributing 5,000 gift packages, continuing a tradition of practical support.

The initiative aligns with a broader vision of public good and care for the vulnerable. By working together, these groups seek to strengthen community bonds and demonstrate the value of collective action in times of need.

Local government has long supported neighborhood volunteer programs, including services for the elderly and vulnerable families. These efforts reinforce the importance of community-based care, providing both social and spiritual support.

The continued severity of the pandemic has highlighted the need for sustained charitable efforts. The “Sharing Love” campaign, now in its second year, continues to raise funds and awareness, ensuring that those in hardship receive ongoing support.

Through these actions, churches and organizations exemplify a commitment to mercy and service, embodying the call to care for the least among us. Their work reflects a dedication to justice, compassion, and the well-being of all members of society.
