Christ is King

Scripture gives a watchman one job: when he sees the sword coming, he sounds the trumpet (Ezekiel 33). But who watches the people holding the trumpet? ChristP2P exists to keep asking that question, out loud and in public, every single day. Today alone we have gathered 461 new reports from the Christian world, 7,534 in the past week and 15,677 in the past thirty days, and the archive now stands at 17,570 articles.

None of it is gathered by hand. 52 news campaigns run around the clock, reading stories from 4,801 different publishers, sorting each one by topic, and pinning it to the place it happened. That is how a report about a pastor in one village and a report about a bishop on the other side of the world end up on the same map, in the same view, and how a pattern that no single story could show becomes something you can actually see. So far our stories reach 215 countries.

Much of what we track is hard to read. We have filed 1,472 reports under Pastoral Crime and 1,126 under Church Accountability; 1,116 of our stories carry the clergy-abuse tag and 486 ask hard questions about how churches handle money. We keep every one because a single report is easy to dismiss and a pattern is not, and because people harmed by religious institutions deserve to find their story written down where it can be found.

It is not all grief. The same work turns up the churches feeding hungry families, sheltering the homeless and standing with their neighbors, across the 39 denominations we follow, and our 369 videos let ordinary believers tell their own stories in their own words.
