Roseville Church Offers Free Backpacks and Activities for Students

All God’s People Church in Roseville is preparing to distribute free backpacks, food, and activities to children entering the new school year during its annual “Back To School Extravaganza.” The event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 5, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the church, located at 25295 Chippendale, northeast of Kelly and 10 Mile roads.

The program is open to students from kindergarten through college. Pastor W.J. Rideout III, who has organized the event for more than 20 years, invited the community to participate, describing it as an opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable day before the school year begins.
