The lawsuit further alleges that Doe and other young men were sent to perform repairs on Savala’s house as part of their ministry work, during which the abuse reportedly escalated.
The lawsuit accuses various entities within the Assemblies of God, including local churches, campus ministries, and the national council, of negligence. It argues that these leaders either knew or should have known about the danger Savala posed. This case highlights the broader issues of accountability and governance within religious organizations, emphasizing the need for financial integrity and public trust.
