Embrace Church has been named among the fastest-growing churches in the nation, ranking No. 17 on Outreach Magazine’s 100 Fastest-Growing Churches in America in 2025. The nondenominational church, which operates three physical campuses in the Sioux Falls area, has seen a 26 percent increase in attendance since last fall, averaging 4,131 attendees each Sunday. The ranking considers both attendance growth and overall size.

Lead pastor Adam Weber expressed humility and gratitude for the recognition, noting that attendance has continued to rise since the ranking was released. He emphasized the church’s approach to being relatable, stating that many attendees feel addressed personally during services. Weber credits his team for fostering connections and being honest about personal imperfections in preaching. He said the church attracts individuals who are not yet fully figured out in life, and he himself acknowledges not having all the answers.

Weber’s passion for the faith plays a significant role in the church’s growth. He shared that while he initially pursued a career in business, his life has been centered on Jesus. Embrace also extends its ministry beyond its campuses, holding worship services at Mike Durfee State Prison in Springfield and the Jameson Annex within the South Dakota State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls. The church ministers to over 100 inmates weekly and also serves the prison staff, including a recent lunch event for the entire Jameson Annex staff.

Weber highlighted the significance of these ministry efforts, noting that baptisms among inmates are particularly meaningful. He described the impact of seeing men seek change in their lives, calling it one of the church’s favorite ministries. Embrace is also experiencing record numbers of middle and high school students attending Wednesday evening youth services, with attendance increasing by more than 50 percent since last September. Weber described the growth as “insane,” with his youth leader frequently encouraging him to attend these services to witness the impact on high school students.
