Robin Kay Saylor, Member of Harmon’s Lick Holiness Church, Dies at 64
Robin Kay Saylor, 64, of Lancaster, Kentucky, and wife of Christopher “Chris” Saylor, passed away at home on Sunday, April 12, 2026. She was born on November 23, 1961, in Somerset, Kentucky, to Freddy Lewis Perdue and Virginia Pauline Faw Calhoun. Robin was a member of Harmon’s Lick Holiness Church in Cartersville, a congregation rooted in Wesleyan-Holiness traditions. She lived her life with a deep commitment to her faith and community.
Robin graduated from Lincoln County High School in 1979. She worked as a skilled and trusted “Pre-Admission Registrar” at Good Samaritan (UK) and Ephraim McDowell Regional Hospitals for over two decades. Her professional dedication reflected the values of service and integrity that are central to many Wesleyan-Holiness churches.
In her personal life, Robin found joy in cooking, gardening, and outdoor activities. She loved spending time at the lake, camping, and traveling to places like Hawaii, Panama City, and Pigeon Forge. Her hobbies included creating art and crafts, and she cherished her role as a grandmother, affectionately called “Nanny.” She was deeply devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren, and looked forward to every moment with them.
Robin and Chris were married on July 2, 1994, and were approaching their 32nd anniversary. Their marriage was marked by shared adventures, including a memorable trip to Daytona Beach in 1994 where they attended the Daytona 500. Their relationship exemplified the love and partnership that many Christian communities seek to emulate, as described in Ephesians 4:15, which encourages believers to speak the truth in love.
Robin is survived by her son, Christopher Boyd “Chris” Hubbard; two sisters, Sandy Lonon and Natalie Frame; two brothers, Rick (Doris) Perdue and Nathan (Kim) Perdue; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronnie and Anna Lee Saylor; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Christin Renee Hubbard, and her brother, Freddy Perdue.
Services celebrating Robin’s life will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Clark Legacy Center in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. A reception will follow and conclude at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a church or charity of the donor’s choice in honor of Robin.
