Salvation Army to Host Salvation Fest 2026 in Westlake, Louisiana, on Halloween
The Salvation Army of Lake Charles will host Salvation Fest 2026 on Halloween night, October 31, at 1637 Reserve Drive in Westlake. The event begins at 5 p.m.
A candy table will be set up for children, with candy given out while supplies last. Adults may visit a prayer station, where Salvation Army team members will be available to pray with anyone who asks.
Captain Charles Smith, Corps Officer of The Salvation Army of Lake Charles, said Halloween offers a chance to meet neighbors and show them that the organization is there for them. “Families are welcome to stop by, pick up some treats, and say hello,” he said. Welcoming neighbors on a busy night is a practice of hospitality (Matthew 25:35).
