Salvation Army Tri-City Corps Announces Mark and Sarah Nottle as New Leaders
Mark and Sarah Nottle have joined The Salvation Army Tri-City Corps Community Center in St. Charles as new leaders, according to a news release. The couple relocated from Canton to the Fox Valley to take on this role, bringing a combined wealth of experience in ministry and community service.
The Nottles will guide ministry and community services across St. Charles, Geneva, and Batavia as the Tri-City Corps prepares to celebrate its 75th anniversary in October. Sarah Nottle brings four years of leadership from The Salvation Army Canton 360 Life Center in Canton, where she led significant growth across key programs, including expanding the food pantry and youth programs to reach record numbers of individuals and families throughout Fulton County.
“Sarah helped transform the Canton 360 Life Center into a model for our division,” said Lt. Colonel Jonathan Rich in the release. Mark Nottle brings more than two decades of experience in youth development, camping ministry, and community service leadership. Most recently, he served as Camp Director at South Side Mission’s Camp Kearney in Canton, where he oversaw summer camp and outdoor education programs that helped young people build confidence, leadership skills, and faith through transformative experiences in the outdoors.
Together, Mark and Sarah Nottle bring a shared commitment to ministry, youth development, and community engagement that will help strengthen The Salvation Army’s mission throughout the Fox Valley. The St. Charles weekly food pantry is one of the largest across the Fox Valley region, with more than 31,000 food pantry visits and reaching more than 29,000 people this past year.
In addition, The Salvation Army Tri-City Corps Community Center, located at 1710 S. Seventh Ave., provides emergency financial assistance, youth programs, and holiday support for local families. Established in 1951, the multicultural social service center is open to anyone seeking support, from food and warmth to survival supplies, rental assistance, and more.
The Salvation Army Tri-City Corps Community Center helps those with nowhere else to turn in the community. The center continues to serve as a vital resource for individuals and families in need, reflecting a longstanding commitment to care for the vulnerable and support those facing hardship.
