Christian Science practitioner Leide Lessa to give free lecture in Paget, Bermuda, on making decisions

A practitioner and teacher of Christian Science healing, Leide Lessa, is scheduled to give a free public lecture titled “Making the right decisions.”

The lecture will take place on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Charities House Boardroom, 25 Point Finger Road, Paget.

Lessa will explore the concept of God as “the all-knowing and all-loving mind, who is supreme.” She described these as “new ways, spiritual ways, to look at making right decisions,” and said she would offer examples of how she has applied these ideas in her healing practice.

She said that turning to God in prayer as the one divine mind “can lead to beneficial decisions.” In her account, this way of thinking “moves us beyond looking at limited options, connects us to divine intelligence, and opens the way for us to see inspired solutions.” She said the one-hour talk would discuss how people can do this and “find peace of mind in making the choices before us” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

The presentation is based on the teachings of Christ Jesus in the Bible and on *Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures* by Mary Baker Eddy, whom the notice identifies as the discoverer and founder of Christian Science.
