Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is asking members of the community to give their time to a MobilePack Event that aims to pack more than 140,000 meals for malnourished children around the world. The organization says it needs 600 volunteers to reach its goal.

The MobilePack Event will take place at Peace Church, 501 E Fillmore Ave., Eau Claire, on October 23 and 24, 2026.

Peace Church hosted the event last year and packed meals for children suffering from starvation in Guatemala and Ukraine. This year, the church’s goal is to pack more than 147,000 meals, showing that care for the hungry can be practical (Matthew 25:35).

John Genskow, MobilePack co-host at Peace Church, said, “Volunteers have joyfully packed over 836,000 meals at the Peace location in the past 7 years.”

Volunteers can choose from five two-hour packing sessions. Each session includes orientation, training, approximately 90 minutes of packing, and cleanup. Individuals, groups, and families are encouraged to take part. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and organizers say the tasks are managed best by school-aged children and older.

Registration opens September 12, 2026. More information is available on Peace Church’s website at mypeacechurch.com/FMSC, or by contacting Peace Church at 715-834-2486.
