Trevecca Nazarene University Announces 2024-2025 Student Academic Award Recipients
Trevecca Nazarene University recently announced the recipients of its 2024-2025 student academic awards, recognizing outstanding achievements across various schools, departments, and honor societies. The awards highlight the academic excellence and diverse talents of students within the university community.
Phi Delta Lambda, the international honor society of the Church of the Nazarene, was represented by the Zeta Chapter at Trevecca. Membership in this society is the highest academic honor bestowed by the university, acknowledging students who have demonstrated exceptional scholarly performance.
The list of awardees includes a wide range of students who excelled in their respective fields. Among them are recipients of the Male Christian Athlete of the Year and Female Christian Athletes of the Year, as well as winners of specialized awards such as the Reconciliation Award and the A.W. “Toby” Williams Award for SGA Member of the Year.
Several students were honored for their contributions to campus life and leadership. These include the Peer Mentor of the Year, RA of the Year, and recipients of awards recognizing dependability, school spirit, and scholarship. The university also acknowledged students for their career leadership and academic excellence in specific disciplines.
In addition to academic and leadership awards, Trevecca recognized students for their achievements in music, business, and graphic design. These awards reflect the university’s commitment to fostering a well-rounded education that values both intellectual and spiritual growth.
The recognition of these students aligns with the Church of the Nazarene’s emphasis on academic excellence and holistic development. As Micah 6:8 reminds us, to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God, Trevecca continues to nurture students who embody these values in their academic and personal pursuits.
