Bethlehem Baptist Church in Columbia, South Carolina, to Hold Free Back-to-School Event with Supplies, Food and Music

Back-to-school season has arrived, and Bethlehem Baptist Church of Columbia, Inc. is hosting a Back to School Bash to help local children start the year with some fun, according to WOLO.

The event begins Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. at the church, located at 1218 Lyon Street in Columbia, S.C. School supplies will be available for children, along with food, music, a bouncy house and other activities. The report does not say how many families are expected or whether supplies are limited to specific ages or schools. Providing school supplies and a meal for neighborhood children is a practical form of hospitality (Matthew 25:35).
