Edward Panoussi, born on January 31, 1939, in Sanandaj, Iran, passed away on July 4, 2019, at the age of 80. He was a devoted husband to Kaldia Nozaradan, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. The couple married on August 31, 1967, and built a life rooted in family and faith.

After completing high school in Iran, Edward pursued higher education in Germany and England, where he earned the title of Wine and Brewery Master. His professional expertise was deeply intertwined with his spiritual life, as he served the Chaldean Catholic Church in Tehran. He was known for preparing the Sacramental wine of St. Joseph for the Assyrian and Chaldean Church, at the request of Bishop Youhanna Eisaeie.

Edward was a man of deep humility, cherished by his family as a devoted husband and a loving father. His legacy is carried forward by his wife, Kaldia, and their children: Ernest and Karen, along with their daughter Meekayla, and Antonio and Christina, along with their son Dylan.

A memorial and farewell service was held on July 9, 2019, at St. Paul Assyrian Chaldean Catholic Church in North Hollywood, California. The service was followed by interment at San Fernando Mission Catholic Cemetery. A reception was held at the same church following the interment, allowing the community to gather and honor Edward’s life.

The service reflected the community’s commitment to caring for one another, embodying the spirit of unity and support that defines the Assyrian and Chaldean Catholic Churches.
