Palestinian Killed in Israeli Airstrike Near Khan Yunis, Gaza Strip, Palestinian Territories
Medical sources in Gaza reported that an Israeli drone strike near the Taiba towers, west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, killed one Palestinian and injured others, according to the Qatar News Agency (QNA), which reported the incident on October 31.
QNA reported that the airstrike was carried out by what it called Israeli occupation forces. The report did not include any statement from the Israeli government or the Israeli military about the strike.
The report said the death brought to three the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation fire and bombardment across the Gaza Strip since that morning. It also said several others had been injured, some critically. For those mourning a loss in a day already marked by violence, the situation calls for comfort in sorrow (Psalm 34:18).
QNA also reported the cumulative toll from what it called Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. According to that report, the total has risen to 74,594 killed and 175,834 wounded.
